Why we started
I'm H. I grew up in Brighton from the age of six, and I've lived in Worthing since 2013. Sussex has been home my whole life.
Before Sussex Airlink, I spent many years in aviation as a senior flight attendant. In aviation, a few minutes matters. A late crew member delays a flight, and a delayed flight ruins a lot of people's plans. It taught me that punctuality isn't a nice extra. It's the whole job.
Too many people miss flights, wait in arrivals, or lie awake at 4am wondering if their car is coming. So we built the airport transfer company we'd trust ourselves. And when you call it, a person answers. Not a menu, not a bot, not an algorithm deciding whether you matter today.
The people behind Airlink
H, founder
Founder, driver, and the one with the ideas. He knows the airports, the roads and which short cuts are actually short. Dolly makes the ideas happen. He mostly just has them.
Dolly, keeps it flying
H's wife, and the reason the rest of us know where to be. Dolly keeps the cars, the paperwork and the people running, steps in wherever there's a gap, and is our female driver on request.
Pearla, on the phone
Fully trained cabin crew, so she spots a delay before the airline admits to it. Pearla answers the phone, watches the flights and runs to the minute.
Our drivers: every one with at least 3 years' taxi or private hire experience before joining us. Licensed, DBS checked and first-aid trained, with safeguarding training every year. Smartly dressed, with regular car and appearance checks.
Parents too
We're parents to three children. So when you're travelling with little ones, we get it: the car seats, the snacks, the "are we nearly there yet?" and the endless games of yellow car (no returns!).
