Why pilots come to Burgess Hill
CAE's London Burgess Hill centre, on Innovation Drive, trains business pilots and aviation technicians on Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Embraer and Gulfstream platforms. It's also where CAE deployed the first Dassault Falcon 6X full-flight simulator. Which means pilots arrive from all over the world, stay for a week or three, and need to be at the door at hours hotel shuttles have never heard of.
Timed to the slot, not the shuttle
Sim sessions start when they start: 02:00, 06:00, 22:00. We plan every run around the brief, the four hours in the box, and the debrief.
1 Brief
We drop you at the door in time for the briefing, not the sim. Tell us the slot and where the brief is, and we work the pickup back from there.
2 Sim
Four hours in the box. Engine failures are the sim's job. Your driver's phone stays on, and if the session overruns, one text moves the pickup.
3 Debrief
We're outside when the debrief ends, and the car is quiet. Hotel, home or straight to the airport: your call.

The whole course, booked once
Send us the schedule and we book the block: the airport pickup with a name board, every session, and the run back to the airport at the end. The same driver wherever we can, a text the night before each run, and one monthly invoice to your operator or training department, with a receipt per session for expenses. Schedule changed? Text the crew line and we move it.

How far is CAE Burgess Hill from Gatwick?About 25 minutes by car, down the M23 and the A23. From Heathrow it's around an hour and a quarter overnight, longer in the day.
My session's running late. What happens?Text the crew line. We move the pickup and wait. Nobody gets charged because a debrief ran long.
There are two of us on the same courseThen share the car. The price is per car, not per person, so two pilots on the same slot split one fare.
Can our training department pay?Yes. Set up an account and every run goes on one monthly invoice, with a receipt per session for expenses. Crew and training accounts get their own crew control number within the hour.
How much is it?Fixed, per car, and quoted before you travel. Ring 01903 331 333 with your course dates and hotel, and we'll give you the fares for every run, plus a rate for the whole course.
Are you part of CAE?No. We're an independent Worthing family firm with years in aviation, and we drive pilots to CAE and the other sim centres nearby.
You fly the sim. We'll handle the real traffic.
