Gatwick North or South? The two-second answer.
easyJet is North. BA and Jet2 are South. TUI is both, so look at your flight number. That's most of you sorted. The rest is below.

Why it matters
Gatwick's two terminals are about a mile apart, on opposite sides of the runway. Different check-in desks, different security, different drop-off zones. Turn up at the wrong one and you'll be fine, but you'll be hurrying, and nobody starts a holiday well by hurrying.
H knows this airport from the inside: he flew as senior cabin crew with Wizz Air, working out of Gatwick's South Terminal, so he's seen every version of the wrong-terminal dash.
It happens all the time. Someone flew Jet2 from Gatwick last year, remembers it as North, and it's moved. So even if you "always" go from one terminal, have a quick look.

Airlines do move, and Gatwick's own website has the final word. Your booking confirmation or app will also show it. If you're flying with us, we check your terminal for you the day before.

Coming home?
Arrivals work the same way: your flight lands at the terminal it left from. If someone's collecting you, tell them which one. If it's us, you don't need to. We track your flight and we'll already know, name board and all.

North. Since summer 2026, all of easyJet's Gatwick flights go from the North Terminal.
Is British Airways at Gatwick North or South?
South. All BA flights at Gatwick use the South Terminal.

South. Jet2 started flying from Gatwick in March 2026, from the South Terminal.
Which terminal is TUI at Gatwick?
Both, so check your flight number. Flights starting TOM go from the North Terminal, and flights starting BY go from the South.
I've gone to the wrong terminal. What now?
Don't panic. A free shuttle train links the two terminals every few minutes and takes about two minutes. Just allow time for it before check-in closes.
